BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ALL ADULTS WHO WORK WITH TEENS.
If your church does not have a background check system, you may register for an account with Shepherds Watch (through Group Ministry) at no charge. The cost for each background check, once your account is set-up, will be $12. This is an effective, convenient, online service. To sign-up, click here. It is REQUIRED that ALL adult volunteers at certain teen events have a background check completed before they are allowed to participate. These events include Regional Festival of Life, overnight Bible Quiz events (including the Regional Quiz), Teen Camp, YES & QUEST events, Nazarene Youth Conference, and any adults who stay in host homes used for IMPACT team members.
If an adult needs to have a background check completed in order to sponsor at an event, and their local church does not have an avenue for them to do so, they may contact Josh Kleinfeld (Pastorjosh@stillnaz.com) to have one done. (The cost is $12.)
